Class 3: Week 10 - Part 1

3 WEEKS LEFT!!!

UNREAL!! Here is some progress on my dialogue shot. Last week we took it to breaking. In this stage, we're supposed to move from stepped mode (pose to pose) and start working in splined mode. This means that a lot of the timing starts to get floating and messy. So, I started smoothing it out last week.

This week we I'm doing more polish on the shot. I've been adding overlap and drag and cleaning up the arcs. The first half of the shot is what I've been working on most so far.

Also, last weeks hand pose was "relaxed" so i'll post what I came up with for that as well.

More to come at the end of this week when I'm done the first polish pass. Next week is our last week to work on this shot. AHHHH!!!

Have a great week,

-C

i'm bummed i can't click on more to watch. it is really fun to see the progression all at once and go through it all in one sitting. that was redundant, but i really enjoy watching your work. you're good, and i can read the excitement you have which is just as important. i can't wait to watch your short.
