Whats new?
Hey!!
So I graduated in March and am looking for an animation job in the film industry. I applied for Disney's Talent Development Program and made it to the final round! But, I found out last week I was not chosen. So, that is more motivation to keep working on my stuff and to make it the best I can! I've applied at most of the big studios and recieved a few rejection letters. Now, I feel like it is more about timing and opportunities that arise. I feel like i've learned so much at AM and am ready to work at a studio. I just need someone to give me that chance to show them I can do it!
For now, I've been working on a new dialogue shot. I'd love to hear your thoughts! The clip is from my favorite movie, "Harry and the Hendersons" Right now, I've taken it out of blocking and am starting to refine the movement and focus on little arcs and timing changes.

Hang in there dude! I applied to the same position... but I haven't heard anything from them. No confirmation, no rejection, nothing. I applied back in June. Though on their website, it still says "reviewing"... maybe they just forgot about me. How did you find out?
I also got a rejection from Sony Imageworks last week... *sad face*
BUT! I just got an interview at Rhythm & Hues today! Gotta head down to LA monday night. Only for a Render TD position though... gotta work my way up to Animator. Wish me luck!
